Now I know what you’re thinking… whoa, starting a blog??

But isn’t it 2023?

Yes. It is.

I know, I’m late to the party.😬

But I took a look around at all the things I should be doing right now and thought to myself,

‘you know what would be great?

If I didn’t do any of those things, and instead started a blog’.

So, here we are.

Ok, a bit about the biz...

Heart House Studio is a small, handmade jewelry business (started by me, Kelsie) dedicated to creating unique, beautiful pieces that bring joy and sparkle to your lives.

I specialize in minimal and modern pieces made from metal, pearls, and gemstones. And of course, I only make pieces that are safe for sensitive skin!

Why I started this business…

Honestly, it was simple.

I was on the hunt for cute earrings that didn’t bother my ears. It seemed like all of a sudden everything had been making my ears sensitive.

Then I stumbled across a metal called niobium, and it sounded like the holy grail for sensitive lobes.

✨Niobium is completely hypoallergenic, comes in tons of fun colours, and it doesn’t tarnish.

The only problem was that the niobium earrings available for sale were sooo bland.

Like really boring. Like what’s the point of even wearing earrings if they’re just going to be so blah.😭

So I started to play around with jewelry making.

I took a few jewelry courses, practiced a ton, and voila - non-boring, super cute, trendy and fun styles were made by my very own hands.

I loved them. Other people loved them. And I figured why not try and sell these and see what happens.

Well, 8 years later, here we are. I’m selling jewelry and blogging like an absolute pro (obviously😉 ).

Ok, but why does this blog even exist?

Ohhh that’s a great question.

I recently decided to start a blog to share stories, inspiration, and tips and tricks about my jewelry; as well as to connect with my beautiful customers and help you make the right decisions when it comes to your jewelry collection.

There is a lot of information out there, and most is it is either hard to wade through or just completely unhelpful. So I’m here to help.

I love jewelry and its ability to express personality and style, and increase self-love and confidence. 

And as an avid jewelry lover, I'm excited to share all my knowledge and personal tips with you.
